Things to buy in the sale

We all love to spot a bargain don’t we. Some people however simply cannot resist a bargain and end up buying everything they come across in the sale and nine times out of ten these people don’t wear half the things they buy. I must confess, I used to be one of those people! Knowledge is power in every sale situation, these reduced prices can do hideous things to a persons fashion sense! Even if that yellow dress did only cost £30 reduced from £150, I would never have looked twice at if I hadn’t noticed the giant swing ticket announcing the massive reduction, I simply could not resist.

Here are some tips to stay savvy and avoid those fashion disasters when shopping in the sales!

  • Do NOT fall for clothes just because they have a big reduction ticket on them!
  • Think to the future, would you still wear this dress next summer? Would you even wear this dress at all!?
  • Jeans can be the worst culprit. If you are like me and have a wardrobe already full of jeans then think long and hard, do you really need another pair?
  • Pick styles that are likely to stick around then you will have a real bargain. Things like Smocks, one shouldered tops, skinny jeans etc are all likely to stay around for the next few seasons so you will get plenty of wear out of your new found bargains.

Usually the best place for a bargain is shopping online, UrbanJeans has a great range of denim for men and women from brands like G Star Jeans, Bench and Henleys jeans and frequently has money off vouchers.
